NO DOGS ALLOWED IN BARN AND SHOW RING AREAS

Bedding will be furnished in the barn. NO STRAW WILL BE ALLOWED

General Rules for all Beef Cattle

  1. NO DOGS ALLOWED IN BARNS OR SHOW RING AREAS.
  2. There will only be room in the barn for cattle on the day they are to show. For any exceptions, please contact Show Chairman.
  3. Any breed that has 20 head or more pre-registered in the show will have a division for that breed.
  4. Any breed not listed will show on the second Friday night in AOB.
  5. Tennessee Health Requirements apply to all cattle.
  6. Unruly animals may be excused from the show ring by the Judge or Show Chairman.
  7. Show cattle should be on grounds three hours before show time.
  8. Trucks & trailers shall park in designated areas after unloading. NO PARKING AROUND BARN.
  9. All cattle must be registered with their respective breed association.
  10. Livestock trailers should enter through the Tennessee Blvd. entrance.
  11. Showmanship classes - Heifers & Steers Only. You can only show in one showmanship.
  12. TN Junior Shows and Junior Open Shows will run with the Open Show of each breed. No exceptions.
  13. You can only show in one show - You may NOT show the same animal in more than one show. An animal may be shown in its breed, show as an AOB or commercial but not all three. ONLY ONE SHOW.
  14. Animals must remain in barn or designated tie areas NOT on trailers unless Chairman grants permission.
  15. Please only participate in the TN Junior Show Championship if you plan to attend the Champion of Champions event. TN Junior Champion and Reserve Champion premiums will NOT be paid unless you come back and participate in the Champion of Champions. You may enter as TN Junior and receive premiums for class placings without participating in Champion of Champions.

AHCA ROE Sanctioned Show Divisions

Points will be awarded based on the following divisions. If necessary, each division may be further divided into several classes at the discretion of the respective show committee.

Intermediate Heifer Calf: born 5/1/26 or after
Junior Heifer Calf: born 1/1/26 – 4/30/26
Senior Heifer Calf: born 9/1/25 – 12/31/25
Intermediate Yearling Heifer: born 5/1/25 – 8/31/25
Junior Yearling Heifer: born 1/1/25 – 4/30/25
Senior Heifer: born 1/1/24 – 12/31/24
Grand Champion Female/Reserve Grand Champion Female
Cow/Calf: Cow must be born 12/31/24 or prior.
Calf must be cow’s natural calf, still nursing, a maximum of 250 days old
Grand Champion Cow/Calf/Reserve Grand Champion Cow/Calf
Intermediate Bull Calf: born 5/1/26 or after
Junior Bull Calf: born 1/1/26 – 4/30/26
Senior Bull Calf: born 9/1/25 – 12/31/25
Intermediate Yearling Bull: born 5/1/25 – 8/31/25
Junior Yearling Bull: born 1/1/25 – 4/30/25
Senior Bull: born 1/1/24 – 12/31/24
