Eligibilty:Open to any 4-H member in Tennessee
Divisions:Junior Division: Grades 4th through 8th as of January 1, 2023
Senior Division: Grades 9th through 12th as of January 1, 2023
2023 Theme"All Things Corn"
4-H members can submit a photography of anything that relates to corn. This could be a field of corn, a portrait of someone eating corn, corn art, a corn maze, etc.
Process
- Counties can submit up to 5 photos in each age division
- Photos need to be emailed to mitch@utk.edu
- Photo must be attached to the email with the file name of the county and name of the 4-H'er. (BlountTomSmith)
- Within the email please indicate each participant's name and county
- Photos will be judged on:
- Photographic Quality
- Composition
- Originality
- Relation to the Theme
Photos must have been taken since August 16, 2022
Awards
- Awards will be given to the top 5 photos in each Region in each grade division
- The three winning Regional Photos will be judged to determine Best of Show
- The top 5 photos in each region will be printed and mounted and exhibited at the Wilson County-Tennessee State Fair
- All photos will be exhibited at the fair in a virtual exhibit
Premiums: 1st Place - $100 ~ 2nd Place - $75 ~ 3rd Place - $50
