Cornbread Challenge

Cooks bring dishes built around cornbread and entered as a main dish, salad or appetizer, from casseroles and corn pudding to tamale pie and stuffing. Judging is open, so visitors can watch the panel work through the entries at the Hometown USA Stage. Entries are scored on creativity, appearance, texture, shape and flavor, and the winning dishes stay on display through the rest of the Fair.
