RULES
1. Competition is open to Wilson County Residents, members of the Wilson County Gardeners Guild, Wilson County Master Gardeners, Wilson County FCE Club, or the Nashville Rose Society. Must be over 18 years old.
2. Please pre-register online before Sunday, Aug. 11 to speed up the entry process.
3. Exhibits must be entered at the Expo Center between 1-6:30 PM on Weds., Aug. 14. NO ENTRIES AFTER 6:30 PM. THOSE IN LINE WILL BE SERVED.
4. Bring your entries and GO DIRECTLY to the ROSE SHOW DISPLAY area in the EXPO CENTER where entry tags will be printed for you. Tables, chairs, vases filled with water and preservative will be available for you to prepare your entries for judging. Guidance will be available, but workers cannot prepare your entries for you. If you have a large number of entries or need special assistance, call the chairman.
5. Each exhibit consists of one bloom to a stem, less side blooms, unless schedule states a spray which is 2 or more flowers on the same stem.
6. All exhibits are at owner’s risk, but reasonable precautions will be taken to protect items.
7. No person may enter more than one item per lot.
8. Premiums will be awarded on the decision of the judges.
9. All entries must be free from insects & disease. Diseased entries will be discarded.
10. All entries should be clean and properly prepared for judging.
11. Glassware will be provided until stores are exhausted.
12. The Chairman may subdivide any division or lot.
13. Premiums will be paid on Sun., Aug. 25. All entries will be discarded unless special arrangements have been made with the Chairman. All containers property of the exhibitor/grower MUST be picked up by 1 PM on Sun., Aug. 25.
14. During the Fair, roses that appear wilted may be replaced depending on availability. Please bring extras if you have them.

39. Fresh Rose Sweetheart Bouquet, Corsage or Boutonniere: an item that is meant to be carried by hand or worn on lapel or wrist. Please do NOT include pins or needles to attach to garment.
40. Fresh Rose Arrangement: an arrangement of any style, any color, any size (up to 18” in any direction). Examples are floating arrangement, centerpiece, hostess gift, etc. Exhibitor supplies the container.
41. For the Love of Roses: an item that may be displayed to demonstrate one’s love of roses. The item may be any style, any color, any size, must be less than 5 lbs. Ex: articles of clothing, artwork, photography, or crafts that must feature a rose/s. NON-PERISHABLE ITEMS ONLY. Fresh floral arrangements will not be accepted in this lot. Questions? Call Chairman.
