RULES
- Competition is open to any Wilson County resident, members of Wilson County Master Gardeners, members of Wilson County Garden Guild, members of Nashville Rose Society. All exhibitors must be 18 years of age or older.
- Please pre-register online before Sunday, August 9 to speed up the
entry process.
- Exhibits must be entered at the Expo Center between 12 - 4 PM on
Wednesday, August 12. NO ENTRIES AFTER 4 PM. THOSE IN LINE WILL BE
SERVED. Please contact the Chairman if you need to make special arrangements for registration.
- Bring your entries and GO DIRECTLY to the ROSE SHOW DISPLAY area
in the EXPO CENTER. PLEASE BE SEATED AT ONE OF THE VASING TABLES. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ROSES IN VASES AND READY TO BE ENTERED BEFORE YOU MOVE TO THE REGISTRATION TABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS. Tables,
chairs, vases filled with fresh water and preservative will be available until supplies are exhausted. Guidance for entry preparation will be available,
but workers cannot prepare your entries for judging. You must specify division and lot for your entries.
- ONCE ENTRIES ARE PREPARED, PLEASE BE SEATED AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE AND WAIT YOUR TURN. If you are pre-registered, your entry tags will already be printed for you. DO NOT LEAVE ENTRIES UNATTENDED. If you have a larger number of entries or need assistance, please call the chairman and make special arrangements.
- Tables, chairs, and vases with water/preservatives are provided while supplies last.
- Each exhibit consists of one bloom to a stem unless the lot specifies a spray (2 or more flowers on the same stem).
- All exhibits are at owner's risk, but reasonable precautions will be taken to protect items. Please do not enter high value or irreplaceable items.
- Premiums will be awarded on the decision of the judges. The Chairman may subdivide any division or lot. No person may enter more than one item per lot.
- All entries must be free from insects & disease. Diseased or wilted entries will
be discarded.
- Premiums will be paid & non-perishable entries and containers must be picked on Sunday, August 23, by 3 PM.
- During the Fair, entries that appear wilted may be replaced depending on availability. Please bring extras if possible.
- We appreciate your participation & are willing to make reasonable accommodations if arranged in advance with the Chairman. Chairman reserves the right to not accept any entry for any reason.
