The matches are two minutes long with a 15 second autonomous period at the beginning of the match followed by one minute and forty-five seconds of a driver control period. Each team will receive a minimum of 6 qualification matches. Once qualification matches are complete a round of elimination matches will be played. Teams can pick their alliance partner for the elimination rounds based on rankings, established in the qualification matches.

The (single robot) Skills Challenge will also be available for the teams to participate in at their leisure.
