Bedding will be furnished in the barn.
Livestock trailers enter through White Gate off Tennessee Blvd.
- All sheep must have a scrapie tag and accompanied with valid health papers.
- Maximum of 5 commercial ewes per exhibitor.
- Maximum of 5 market lambs per exhibitor.
- Ewes shown in the Commercial Ewe Show are not eligible to show in the Purebred Ewe Show or the Market Lamb Show.
- Commercial ewes will be assigned to classes based on age, weight, face color, hair or wool. There will be separate classes for lambs and yearlings.
- Market Lambs will be assigned to classes based on weight, face color, hair or wool.
- Open to junior exhibitors who are 21 and under.
All livestock Exhibitors and Drivers of vehicles transporting
livestock will be admitted FREE.
(An Exhibitor is defined as the person who attends the animal in the show ring.)
All others must pay regular Fair Admission.

Drug Testing: Any aminal entered into the State Fair Sheep Show is subject to tissue, urine, ultrasound, and blood testing at any time at the discretion of the show management. Each exhibitor's cooperation is
REQUIRED. Any exhibitor who does not submit their animal for drug testing will immediately be disqualified from all premiums and awards. If the result of the testing indicates the use of any substance that is not approved for use in that species by the FDA, or any substance used outside the specified withdrawal requirements of the FDA, these animals will be declared ineligible for competition, and all awards will be forfeited. Substances tested for may include,
but are not limited to, antibiotics, repartitioning agents, diuretics, tranquilizers, analgesics, steroids, and local anesthetics.
Exhibitors are responsible for the care and custody of their animal at the State Fair Sheep Show.
