Bedding will be furnished in the barn.

Premiums: 1st-$30 ~ 2nd-$28 ~ 3rd-$25 ~ 4th-$20 ~ 5th-$18 ~ 6th-$15 ~ 7th-$10 ~ 8th-$8 ~ 9th & 10th-$5

Judge: TBD

Livestock trailers enter through White Gate off Tennessee Blvd.

  • All sheep must have a scrapie tag and accompanied with valid health papers.
  • Maximum of 5 commercial ewes per exhibitor.
  • Maximum of 5 market lambs per exhibitor.
  • Ewes shown in the Commercial Ewe Show are not eligible to show in the Purebred Ewe Show or the Market Lamb Show.
  • Commercial ewes will be assigned to classes based on age, weight, face color, hair or wool. There will be separate classes for lambs and yearlings.
  • Market Lambs will be assigned to classes based on weight, face color, hair or wool.
  • Open to junior exhibitors who are 21 and under.
All livestock Exhibitors and Drivers of vehicles transporting
livestock will be admitted FREE.
(An Exhibitor is defined as the person who attends the animal in the show ring.)
All others must pay regular Fair Admission.

Calling all aspiring showmen!
Join us for a free beginner livestock showmanship clinic designed especially for youth interested in learning the basics of showing goats and sheep.

FREE
Open to Youth 4th - 9th Grade
No experience needed!
Beginner Level
Open to the first 25 registrants (12 animals can be provided for non-registered showmen and 13 showmen bringing their own animal)

This hands-on, interactive clinic is led by experienced showmen and is part of a Girl Scout Gold Award project focused on youth education in agriculture. Come gain confidence, skills and a behind-the-scenes look at the show ring!
